Unfortunately, we were only in Essaouira for the afternoon and had to depart the next morning. We were on the bus for five hours and all of a sudden our driver pulled over and jumped out. Radiator hose broke, which was a huge bummer because it rendered us incapable of moving in the 100 degree afternoon heat for two hours until it got fixed. Bummer. I felt really bad for our poor driver, though. He worked so hard and it was sooo hot! Poor guy. We arrived at our hotel way later than we planned on and only had time for dinner. I was so glad, and slept so well after that day, but my back was killing me from the long bus ride.
